Claudia Ospina, Lecturer in Spanish, is a native of Colombia. She received
her B.A. from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota (Communications and
Journalism), her M.A. from Ohio University (Modern Languages), her M.A.I.A.,
International Affairs from Ohio University (Latin American Studies), and her
Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. She has been teaching at Wake
Forest University since 2006. Her interests include contemporary and
Nineteenth-Century Latin American Culture and Literature.
