Patricia L. Swier

Patricia L. Swier is a lecturer of Spanish at Wake Forest University. Her primary area of research is Latin American Literature with a concentration on gender and its relationship to national identity, which is the focus of her book Hybrid Nations. She is currently investigating the role of trauma and memory in the post dictatorial era of the Southern Cone.
